Safety Program

Roest Acoustics Ltd. is committed to a proactive health and safety program aimed at protecting staff, property, clients, the general public and the environment from injury or loss.

Management sets an example and provides leadership in the health and safety program by setting work procedures, based on occupational health and safety legislation, and providing safety equipment and training.

Our safety program is quite extensive and all employees receive an orientation upon hiring. A WHMIS instructor is on staff and courses are run often. First Aid Training is offered offsite as well. A group orientation is conducted once a year as part of the Annual Safety Audit and a specialized safety-related course is presented at that time. A Power Activated Tool course, instructed by Hilti Canada and a Scissor Lift Safety Course, instructed by On-Site Equipment Ltd. are two examples of the types of courses that have formed part of the Annual Audit.
